Kathryn joined the Stroke Rehabilitation Research programme in the NMAHP Research Unit at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2014. Kathryn’s research interests include stroke and aphasia rehabilitation, medical anthropology and health equity. She began her PhD research in 2017 under the joint supervision of Prof Marian Brady, Dr Myzoon Ali and Dr Madeleine Cruice of City University London.
Kathryn is also the Administrator for the Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists (CATs), an international multidisciplinary network which supports the development, conduct, reporting and dissemination of large-scale, co-ordinated, aphasia research activities to optimise the rehabilitation and recovery of people with aphasia. She was previously the Data Co-ordinator for the REhabilitation and recovery of peopLE with Aphasia after StrokE (RELEASE) study, funded by National Institute of Health Research (NIHR).
